EV Charger

EV Charger are devices that provide charging services for electric vehicles. It draws electricity from the grid and then converts it to charge the battery of the electric car. The emergence of charging piles solves the problem of limited range of electric vehicles and provides infrastructure support for its widespread adoption.

The charging pile is mainly composed of pile body, power unit, control unit, metering unit and so on. The pile body is the shell of the charging pile, which has the function of protecting the internal equipment and facilitating user operation; The power unit is responsible for the conversion and transmission of electrical energy.

Below topology is very common seen in high power charging module unit from 20kW to 40kW. It’s composed of three phase vienna rectifier and soft switching resonant circuit. Benefit from these topology technology, charging module unit can achieve lower system ripple, higher efficiency and higher power density.
