IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistors) are the core power devices of wind power generation systems, mainly used in converters (AC/DC/AC conversion), generator control and power grid access. Wind turbines usually use double-fed asynchronous generators (DFIG) or permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSM), which require converters to achieve.
The reliability of the converter system is related to the reliability of the individual components and is largely attributed to the power device insulated gate bipolar transistor IGBT in which it is applied. At present, the wind power converter mainly uses 1700V IGBT module to convert the unstable wind energy into voltage and frequency stable electric energy and realize grid-connected.
